For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory ^{– 2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV}

In the here and now, nobody likes suffering. Nobody likes affliction. No affliction seems “light” when we are going through it. It certainly never seems trouble and hurt and suffering and heartache are “but for a moment.” In fact, for some of us, it seems life is more full of trouble and trials and tribulations than joys and pleasures and comforts.

Hold your breath for one second.

No, really, hold your breath. Just one second. Let it out.
